Meet the Team

Penny Marsh. BSc Hons, CELTA

Penny was born in Africa and has lived in many different countries so she understands what it feels like to be in a foreign land! She speaks Portuguese, has worked as a teacher in language schools in Portugal and in Cambridge, and now runs an International Café in St Neots. Penny spends her free time with her family and also enjoys cooking, drinking coffee in cafés with friends and working in her allotment.

Nicola Hill. BA Hons, PGCE, TEFL

Nicola trained many years ago as a primary school teacher, still teaches in schools locally and has lost track of the number of children she has taught. She now also enjoys teaching adults to use the English language and learn about British culture. When Nicola is not teaching, she loves to make things, draw, dance and spend time with her own large family.

We love meeting and teaching students from all over the world and of all ages. Our students are aged between 8 and 81 years old!
Past and present students come from:
Brazil, Cambodia, Canary Islands, China, Czechia, France, Germany, Italy, Iran, Korea, Lithuania, Macau,
Moldova, Nigeria, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, Venezuela, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
